Effective November 1, 2018, Enbridge’s Home Energy Conservation (HEC) Program is winding down for homeowners who heat their home with oil, propane, wood or electricity.  The Whole Home Pilot with the Government of Ontario and Save on Energy is ending.  But for homeowners who heat with natural gas, up to $5,000 in Enbridge Gas incentives is still available.

Homeowners who heat their homes with oil, propane, wood or electricity must complete their pre-audit by October 31, 2018, and have their post-audit completed within 120 days to be eligible for the Home Energy Conservation Program. Also effective November 1, 2018 any additional electrical incentives offered as part of Save on Energy’s Whole Home pilot will no longer be offered.

Natural gas consumers should act quickly as to qualify for incentives, the initial  assessment must take place prior to December 31st, 2018, and the second audit must be completed by February 28, 2019.  A minimum of two upgrades to your home are required.  Seen Enbridge Sell Sheet.
