A panel of experts will answer your questions about:
- how to solve your home heating problems
- address leading best practices for saving energy and improving your home’s comfort
- explain how to maximize government grants to renovate your house.
Don Eaton, a leading national home energy expert, of Green Communities Canada, and Alan Leonard, certified Energy Auditor for REAL, will take your questions.
Don Eaton has 40 years of residential construction and home energy experience. He has trained energy auditors in Canada and internationally. For the past 10 years as the Director of the Elora Environment Centre he has worked with community groups to provide energy efficiency programs across Canada. Besides his years of practical experience, Don has taken many government and industry courses and, an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Guelph.
Alan Leonard has more than 20 years experience and training in construction, renovation, off-the-grid and home auditing.
REAL is presenting this session as part of its mission to take REAL Actions to Protect the Environment.
