Municipal Waste Options Gananoque
Garbage tags are available for $1.25 at the following locations: The Town Hall, A&P, White's Grocetiera, Shopper's Convenience, and Town & Country Depot. See the garbage collection schedule.
Gananoque has a curbside recycling program. See the schedule. Recyclable products are divided into two types - "paper" box and "blue" box. Paper Box Recyclables Ensure that no loose material will blow out and cause litter.
Contaminants that should not be place in the Paper Box;
Blue Box Recyclables Ensure all items are empty and rinsed clean.

Recycling boxes are available at the Town Hall for $7.00 each. For more information, pick up a copy of the full recycling program at the Town Hall on King Street.
The town will also pick up leaves, brush, clean lumber, and yard (garden) waste once each fall. See the website for details.
Gananoque has Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) days to dispose of hazardous items. These are usually held in the fall.
