Once a year Dan Andress at Andress’ Your Independent Grocer in Smiths Falls offers to do a “Customer Ask” to benefit REAL.  When you are checking out during that week, the cashier will ask if you would like to make a small donation to your local environmental organization, REAL.   You will be given a little slip of paper to sign, and which will be displayed in the window with those of other contributors.  All those $2 donations really add up and are a big boost to REAL’s community projects – last year we raised $450.  Thanks to Dan Andress and staff for making this possible.
