The Evergreen Avenue Committee is hosting a commemoration at the Smiths Falls Legion on Sunday June 22, from 1:30 – 3:00.  This annual event is to recognize the people for whom granite stones have been placed along Evergreen Avenue at Victoria Park.  Two veterans, Dave Lawrence and Bill Baxter,  and two community builders, Enid Rabb and Bud Fawcett,  will be honoured this year.  REAL will also be presenting an environmental award to Joyce Hostyn and Kingston Little Forests.
