REAL operates an electronics waste depot on the REAL Deal site.  You can bring your outdated or non-working computers, TVs, stereo equipment, cell phones etc. to us during store hours.  We are now accepting most electric appliances as well, they do not need to be electronic. Our staff will pack them into the big black bin you see to the left of the customer doors.  The Electronic Products Recycling Association (EPRA)  ensures they are recycled responsibly in Ontario.  Please do not bring anything over 50 pounds, as we don’t have the equipment to move it.  You can set electric  items beside the bin or against the wall but please do not put them in front of the bin doors, that’s just silly.  Ask if you need help getting the materials out of your car.  For further details phone the store at (613) 283-7999, contact us via email, or see our electronics waste pages.
