REAL’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) is back at the Rideau Community Health Centre Kitchen, 2 Gould Street this year.

Our guest speaker will be David Schimpky, Executive  Director of the Frontenac Arch Biosphere Network (FABN).   FABN has been a leader in promoting environmental sustainability since 2002.  The Frontenac Arch Biosphere, just south of here,  is a region of  global ecological significance spanning 2700 square kilometres from from Gananoque to Brockville, and Sydenham to Westport and Rideau Lakes.  This unique area has been given international UNESCO designation.   David may be joining us virtually or in person.

Join us at 6:30 for some socializing and refreshments, the meeting starts at 7:00 p.m.   Following our guest speaker, will be some highlights of REAL’s activities over the past year with a focus on the “Why”, and our required AGM business.  Two dedicated volunteers will be recognized with Honorary REAL memberships.
